You ask: "Do you want fries with that?"
You need a master's degree to teach and a master's to practice. Nothing.
You don't need a masters to teach high school psychology. |

It turns out you can do more than clinical psychology. With a bachelors you could work in advertising.

The higher your degree, the more money you'll make. But I believe an internship of sorts is required before you can actually be a psychologist, but don't quote me on that.

I know in Canada, you need a masters to practice psychology (like a psychiatrist, or counselor) but there are many other jobs that you can do if you only have a bachelors. As for why someone would get a masters if they don't' need it, they may want to learn more about a specific topic, or get a better job than someone with a bachelors. There are many reasons.

I don't know the answer to the first one, but for the second, there can be lots of reasons, be it a personal challenge, or be it to beat a rival.

you really can't do anything with a university degree. it doesn't prepare you for work, its just a right of passage.
