I'm a liberal arts major (International Relations and Creative Writing), so most people assume that I'm going to go to professional school. I have no taste for business, so that's automatically out of the picture, so that leaves law school as my default option. I mean, I too think that a BA is pretty worthless in today's job market. But do I really want to go to law school? Because that would mean spending my remaining years of college stressed out about a lot of things towards a goal that I do not even want.

I never ever want to end up like Michael Clayton and all those other overworked lawyers. I'm very interested in politics, and most people in politics have backgrounds in law, so maybe there's a place for me there. But what I really want to do is

I noticed you never said what you really wanted to do. Do what you really want to do, not what others want you to. That's the only way to be happy.
