If you work the cash register while you're there a lot of jobs require some cashier experience, so that will be good. And it's better then having no job references. Just make sure you stay with it for a while, if it's your first job and you bail soon, it'll look bad on you. You need experience and you're bound to start SOMEWHERE. It all depends on how you present yourself in the future.
