A friend of mine who's very internet minded sent me a link to 4chan for a funny picture. Now i have heard that that sight contains child porn/ other illegal stuff. Is this true? Because i don't want a sight like that on my history as in the future i'll be applying for jobs that require security checks (including internet/phone activity. I will have to give them permission to do so.) So yeah is 4chan a safe sight? Or is it not?

There have been cases of users on 4chan posting things like that, but they have been banned because the posting or distribution of anything like child porn is illegal.
