| On Rotten Tomatoes they seemed pretty harsh on it, but not many reviews. The book apparently won the author a Nobel Prize. And Fernando Meirelles is a superb director. That alone's probably enough reason to see it. |

| the critics slammed this one quite a bit at cannes. i'm hoping the public is a little kinder lol. |
