what sort of stuff can you do the summer before starting freshman year in college?
i was talking to my friend and he said i should go and read a lot more this summer like hard books and newspapers and stuff just so i can get used to the material.
what other stuff?
But instead i've chosen to make the most of my summer and work and party and shop. Which is quite pathetic. Reading this illustrated how much more productive i could've been this summer.
Anywho, i agree. You should def. read up on subjects you're interested in. But you should also try and relax. Expect a shitload of work your freshmen year. You'll need to learn to adjust and you'll probably be fairly busy.
Whatever you choose to do, i'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck.

Reading is good, but I would suggest not only hard books, but relevant books. In fact, scratch that, any book will do, you just want to be at your peak going into college in terms of reading speed and comprehension. this is the advice im looking for. thanks man.
