I'm starting college in two weeks. I'm going to be really close to home but I'm still scared. My room mate is 4 years older than me and has lived in the dorm all summer.

Will there be somewhere that I can go to help me pick my major? Is there usually a counselor on campus?

thats actually really good that ur room mate has been there because (hopefully) she'll have friends all ready so u can meet a bunch of new people easily.

I'm actually enrolled in liberal arts...and I honestly don't even know what that means.

All students usually get an academic advisor.  Your advisor (usually) will have experience in your specific department.  Since you don't have a major yet, you will probably get someone who has experience in a major-exploration capacity.
