| University isn't that bad... its just a matter of finding your niche. Most campus have a listing of on campus and off campus jobs. If you were to find a job, you'd have extra money to spend on different things. If you don't feel like socializing, that's your loss. There are plenty of people to meet and befriend from school but if you choose not to, then I personally think you're missing out. Drinking a bottle of vodka isn't the best thing to do, especially during the school week. Cheer up, I'm sure things will get better. It's only been two days! Is this your first year? |

| I went to 3 lectures the whole of last year...i lived on like £40 a week...i had the time of my life. Stop worrying about things...if you find uni hard id be in no rush to get out into the real world. Chill out and enjoy the freedom |

| Drinking near-all of a bottle of vodka has little to do with your decision to go to Uni. I wouldn't base your college experience off of that. |

Isn't it a little early to come to that conclusion? Im sure there is something you will find that interests you! And as for money...Get a job or 2 see if that helps a bit. |

| You've been there two days. Give it time. A lot of people struggle at the beginning of university, but don't give up after two days - you'll regret it. |

| You cant honestly make any proper judgement after two days, dont bother buying the books, its not like you will ever read them anyhow! & education is important whether you choose to enjoy it or not. |

Been there done that. It's still early days, you could always transfer to another department, or ask to sit in on modules from other topics to see if there is a subject you'd prefer. |

| Well if you feel like it isn't something you are interested in, you can withdraw from the course, try and sell the stuff you purchased, and I guess cut your losses. Usually people like to find a part time job to do, so they can earn themselves some extra money to cover other costs like rent and food. |

| maybe you have not found the subjects and classes you like yet. I have been taking a lot of different classes to discover what I like as I was not sure if I wanted to be a photographer/graphic designer or law |
