But if you want. it's your decisions. If you're afraid someone will jack it, do you have a dresser or a chest of drawer that has a lock on it? Some students do tend to get addicted to thier games, stay up all hours of the day, and then realize that they've been on academic probation because of it. As long as you know how to manage your time and you know how to control yourself, you should be just fine. I've seen it happen several times... in fact, my ex boyfriend had that issue last year and ended up dropping out because of it. If you're afraid someone will jack it, then get a trunk with a lock and stick it in there. But honestly, if you don't lock your door then having anything worth anything in your room is rather pointless.
