Theres also the whole moving out thing. I know my moms going to be upset, its only going to make it harder on me. This is a rough time for me, so many things flying through my mind.
For any upperclassmen of college, any words of advice for a starting freshman?
Well im thinking of going to a local college here in town, its still a university. Im just scared! Im worried about the whole work load thing. It just scares me, I dont want to fail and waste money or anything. I havent even done too well with scholarships. Theres also the whole moving out thing. I know my moms going to be upset, its only going to make it harder on me. This is a rough time for me, so many things flying through my mind. #1 The work load is MUCH lighter than High School. At least for me and my friends. #2 Attend the lectures, study ahead, and do your work. I'm sure you'll do fine. If you don't understand something, ask your prof. right away, don't wait. I'd advise against asking your peers, oftentimes, they don't know any better either.
#3 Most of the college courses are curved (like a bell curve), so you just need to out study your peers;) Well, always nice to shoot for 100% anyways:P (haha! i actually done it with Chem this year!)
