I don't wanna hit a kid or dog because i didn't see them just so i can hang with friends. I plan on moving after get out of local college and go to albany where their is more transportation and such. In my town their is no BUSor anything all their is is a taxi and its 25 dollars to go anywhere. |

I'm sorry that you have to go through that. That is extremely childish and selfish of your sister to say. Before you go off being horribly angry at her, just try and realize that sometimes people say mean things when they get upset. You called her a bitch, so she reciprocated by telling you that you have no life. Even though we both know what she said hurts, dwelling on it will get you nowhere. Just try your best to forgive her and move on. As for your condition, I just looked up a few sites and I don't see any reason why you are not eligible to drive. Even if you are blind in one eye, a website I just read said that most states allow driving with one eye blindness. I would highly recommend that you look into that as much as you can. Getting your license will give you that freedom from home that you really need. If you aren't able to get your license, then it's time to start accepting it. Don't live in self pity, because all that really does is make you feel worse about your situation. Try to think about what steps you are going to have to endure to ensure that you have a full life without driving privileges. You mentioned that you are 20, even though it may be hard have you considered moving into town? Many somewhat active towns have wonderful bus or subway systems that would be able to cart you around anywhere. Basically, no matter what your obstacle is, there is always a way to overcome it as long as you don't sit and dwell. Start thinking of solutions to your situation.

I can't and won't ask my family to uproute and go live somewhere else so i can hang with friends. I know the peeople around me all little kids or HSers who are into drugs. As for talking to my sister she really couldn't care less and compares it to me saying she is a bitch (which was messed up but i'm sorry she is)

oh, that really sucks. i think you should plan a night every week where your friends come over and do something like watch movies, play cards, or something. it would be a way for you to interact with your friends, and you wouldnt have to ask anybody to drive you anywhere. and i higly suggest talking to your sister about how she hurts your feelings. just tell her its not your fault you got a bum eye and you wish she would be more sensitive about it. and also like always, you should be thankful you can hear, you can see out of one eye, and you can walk and talk. excercise always makes me feel better, if you have gym equipment at home, its great!

aww you can only live your life as best as you possibly can. maybe try to walk some places? get to know the people living in your area? or you could ask your mom if you could move to a place nearer to public places.

Lifes a bitch, i can tell you that. Especially something that isnt yourfault, and effects you in such a way. There isnt much to say really mate to you. I know you said you dont like asking, but perhaps you should ask your mom to take you places. And this allways makes me feel postive. There is allways someone, somewhere, worst of then you.
