I am on medicine that makes me forget practically everything.

I can't remember people, dates, names, and such. I really can't. Can someone offer advice?

That's horrible. Is there perhaps a medication with the same good effect but less bad side effects like temprary amnesia?

I tried another one and had these horrible hallucinations. I mean I felt like I was being attacked by a fake blob.
