people go to college to LEARN... i'm not exactly making a ton of new mates, but i'm not there to socialise, i'm there to get my A-levels. you need to stop acting like its the end of the world, listen to some upbeat fast music, then get your butt to class!! now! |

| college isn't for everyone. stick it out a little while more and come up with a plan of what you'll do when you're not in school. that way when you present it to your mom she won't think you're an idiot and will probably be less likely to kill you. |

| Yeah, I realized that it's kind of like a little more mature level of high school. But don't worry, it'll get better even though it might not seem like it. |

| Something I learned once I got to college: A LOT of friendships won't survive the year. The ones that do, those are the keepers. |

| College is not for those who can't motivate themselves. It takes strength to get up and go to class and get the work done. There's no parent there to wake you up and nag you to go to school. The school is not going to call home to find out why you're not in school. Several of ,y friends flunked out last year because they lacked the maturity to make good choices. They couldn't stay away from the all night booze parties, and they were too messed up to get to class the next day. If you're not ready to get the job done, you're probably wasting your money. |

There are still immature people in college...an unfortunate truth. The purpose of college isn't to party, so it really doesn't matter if you're there and you're not. The purpose of college is for an education, and living in the dorms is just nice because you're there on campus, and if you don't want to do anything else other than classes, then don't. Just sit in your room. No one will judge. If you REALLY don't want to be there, then don't. But I do understand the thing with your parents. It would devastate my parents if I were to quit college. You could always find a medium though, like you live at home and go to a community college as either a part-time of full-time student. |

It ain't up to her, it's up to you.
it's up to her when she's kind enough to lay the money down for all of this. |
