I honestly think that sometimes haha I wish I could say that I'm joking, but I feel like I could put more effort into things and actually care.

My parents are both miserable so I can kind of understand why I feel this way.

But I feel so worthless sometimes.

And I know when I put effort into friendships, I feel like I have friends. But it's hard and stressful some of the time & I just can't handle it all the time.

Why are your parents miserable? Use this as leverage so you dont end up like them. Do you keep a journal? Have you talked to a counselor? Considered moving out and creating your own life without the added negativity from your parents? Creating a positive surrounding will definitely help you. I have green, orange and yellow walls for the exact reason. It can never be depressing in my room and i am 24 years old. (at least they are not pink lol) :P
