my family has me stressed out.  I'm so tired, I can't see very well.  I'm thinking of asking a friend that if I payed him a certain amount, if I may stay with him for around 2 days, just so I can get an emotional break from my family.

I'm so tired...my legs hurt from walking constantly.  I don't think there is any fat in my legs to even ease friction...and my old injury in my leg(from figure skating) hurts like hell.  yet everyone barely offers a ride to the bus stop...I've always been on my own up here.  I'm about to head out the door at 4 am, just so maybe I can sleep at the college.  I don't feel comfortable here.

I'm forced into a small ass room, which just barely has room for a bed, there is barely enough space for anything else.  I can't keep organized in this small room.  then I get chewed out for not doing chores, when in reality, I just all but stopped because I was the only one doing them.  they all have jobs, and I'm on disability...yes.

but they can all drive to work.  I'm stuck on foot, nearly dying in 90+ degree weather in the summer, or nearly freezing in the winter, constantly sick from being soaked during the rainy season.  this would qualify as abuse just about...but not quite, as I'm over 18 now...

should I call in to my choir teacher and just say I'm sick?  I only have choir tomorrow, and I all but know the music front and back, just a part here or there that is slightly outside my range, but I can do falsetto. I just need a day more off, and some time with my guy friend on tuesday.

If only I could be with him now...I could use a shoulder to cry on...but I think it might creep him out...so I don't even have a shoulder to cry on...I could just die...

I really don't understand the problem here a lot, I'm just getting bits and parts, so I'll try to work with what you gave me...

Getting away from problems and taking a break from them is always a good approach, it can make you analyze things and get a better perspective of the situation... Also it gives you some peace of mind and relaxation (Always a good thing to get), and because of this I agree with you, try to find a friend that would make you have a good time, and lighten up a bit!

Life isn't fair certainly, and it seems that you've got it hard, but to be positive at least you appreciate the things you got more than some people who have it all and don't even understand what you've experienced. In the future if you work hard and you get to overcome your expectations and desires, you could have all the things you want and be modest. This type of life experience most of the times make people a better person. Work hard, so you can look back at this situation and just smile.

I don't understand what you're trying to say about the living situation but what I do get, is that it's unbearable for you, and that you need to fix this.

You mention a disability, I'm not sure what type and how serious is, but can you get a job and maybe try to maintain yourself or live with a friend, or even in a dorm in school? Have you asked your family/guardians for help? (although I'm kinda getting that you don't exactly have a good relationship with them, maybe it's just a perception, if so, I apologize).

If you feel like you need a day off from your choir classes, go ahead and do it, If that's going to make you better, don't even think about it twice and go ahead. Just tell him you're not feeling well, maybe that your throat hurts and that you don't feel like practicing so you don't hurt something.

Good Luck.

That really sucks! Sounds like it might be god for you to stay a couple of nights wit your mate. Why not take the day off, if its just one class. Just make sure it doesn't become habit, and it will be fine :) - Except lying it never good, but if your that tired...
Hope everything gets better for you hon :)

thanks :)

I never skip class, never intentionally.  so that's why I'm scared of lying.  I can lie about many things, but never to family, friends, or teachers....I feel dirty, but i just don't see me being able to sing tomorrow, if i can't stand or even be able to form coherent thought.
