Well planning your repentance is a sign that you are not truly repenting.   I would say you got a 10 percent chance of getting into the sky kingdom. Your reasoning seems a tad off to me. Planning my repentance now means that I am not repenting now. I am not sorry for my sins, therefore I am not saved even though I believe. However, planning to repent before my departure does not mean I should naturally end up in hell. TOH pointed out out that sincerity in repentance is absolutely necessary and I think many people are capable of that because the reality of mortality brings upon a change in thinking. Considering that, if I do indeed end up with moments to spare before my death and I genuinely believe and repent then that puts me and many people at a 100% fix on heaven. I tend to agree with the sentiment, but keep in mind that perspective tends to change when one is dying. I feel that most people when faced with their mortality can be very sincere. Also from Biblical Scripture you have the passage (perhaps more that I am unaware of) where it is specified that repentance for past sins and faith in God brings salvation.
