it has occurred to me that everyone's "god" has the same/similar powers of immortality, giving life, all knowing, and so on. if they all do the same things that would make them equal, so why not put the others to the side make a new god and worship that one

Smoke another blunt and maybe you will see this a little more clearly. I doubt that this will make sense to you, but at least among the Christians, Jews and Muslims there is only one God.

It all has to do with traditions. No one wants to give up their holidays and make up a god.

And imagine what a task it would be to appease all religious?

The Hindus with their 1000's of gods...

ive thought about this before to but all cultures ahave diff ways of praying and believing like mecca christians dont do that and so on
