That's why many people take the definition of the word as "Let it be so"  - "so be it" - "truly" etc. the word or root amen, certainly means "what is hidden," "what is not seen," "what cannot be seen," and the like, and this fact is proved by scores of examples which may be collected from texts of all periods. Either way, Amen is described as God in Kings I Chapter 1 verse 36 of the old testament.
