The reason I ask is I was raised catholic and to think about committing a sin is just as bad as actually committing it. Not that I'd ever try anything stupid.
I went to a Catholic school for nine years and I was always taught that thinking about committing a sin or wanting to isn't a sin unless you actually do it.
But didn't you go to All saints and not to St Francis?
St. Francis IS All Saints. The name was just changed. Who in the freaking hell is this?
It's God duh And at CCD they told me the complete opposite.
I thought so and then I wasn't sure why you'd care. And they LIED to you. Anyway, you're God, you make the rules. |

| I wasn't really raised religious, but I went to a private school for a while, and we were taught that thinking about a sin, was the same as doing it. |

| I i said in a reply to a similar question earlier. Suicide is a natural thought, but an unnatural action. I think most teens think about suicide, but don't attempt it. Whatever problems you have will soon pass, seek help. Talk to a professional about your problems, it really does help. |

| It is a sin to commit suicide, but as you say catholism teaches thinking about a sin is as sinful as commiting it. |
