I just want to know HOW
"I believe sharing my husband with other wives brings me closer to God" I just want to know HOW
Mormons (even proper, mainstream, LDS ones) believe Jehovah has multiple wives with whom he does or has done the nasty.
A plural marriage (one husband only of course) mirrors Jehovah's supposed spiritual family.

I do not see how me having many partners if I choose to would bring me closer to God. Ditto on both counts, but as long as their husband is fine with sharing her with other men (otherwise it's polygyny and... yeah), I guess it wouldn't be all that different from any other kind of polyfidelity assuming, as is implied, that the relationship is polygynous, do you consider that intrinsically problematic or merely suspect?

More children=Larger celestial army=Happy God.
So, in a sense, according to their beliefs, yes, sharing your husband does in fact bring you closer to God.
