Do you believe the US Federal government should punish those convicted of espionage or treason with death?

With arbitrary definition of both offenses, isn't it possible that it could be used or has been used to silence people who attempt to expose the truth?

I do not believe that any government has the right to terminate a life.

Definitely should be killed if the act was used to benefit another country at our expense. Such acts are easily understood as an act of war. 2 Soviet spies (unsurprisingly JEWS) gave the USSR our atomic bomb secrets. By any measure this is an act of aggression against America, and killing them is completely justified.

Capitol punishment for that? Unless they could cause severe catastrophic damage because of it, then no, I don't think they should receive the death penalty.
