so yeahh my friend suddenly decided tht they were agnostic..and i was like..uuhh..oh ok..but i was like..wtf is tht..someone inform me plz!

It's a fence sitting view. They are not sure whether there is a God or not. Agnostics can be either leaning towards theism or atheism.
