I'm talking about Birth Control. It would probably be not too bad to talk to your parents about it, if you wanted to seek their approval. Most girls in high school go on it, even if they aren't having sex, to just be more safe and help regulate hormones. So having a boyfriend for over a year is an even better reason. I suggest you do that, but if you don't feel comfortable, using a condom and lube also is pretty effective, especially for the first time kind of thing, until you get used to it.
