Regardless of whether you're addicted, when you're on meth you want more meth, you don't want to come down, you don't make good decisions. Limiting access to money is a good way to make sure you will stop when it runs out. It's not really about willpower. On meth nobody has willpower to stop when it's sensible if they have the option to keep going. Meth makes people feel invincible and with no concept of time, using for a straight week feels like one night and then it's been months and you just don't know what happened.
