An overdose is where you take too much of a substance for your body to handle, and the effects vary. The one time I OD'ed on something didn't really "hurt" but I knew something was wrong and it felt bad. If you think that you will, it's best to get some medical attention. In certain cases, it can be fatal. As I said, it depends what it is.
