So before I got sick ( long story but basically I was fucked up for about 2 months and just very recently started getting better), I used to smoke weed multiple times a day and do other drugs as well.

Now that I've quit weed ( and all others besides cigarettes), I feel very relieved. I do not at ALL regret that I ever got into drugs because they made me a better person and I'm really happy I did, but now that I'm sober at all times I like it and I don't think I'll ever go back.

I'll probably smoke weed occasionally when I get back to being 100% better but for now I'm all sober at all times.

have you quit any type of drugs? how do you feel about it now?

I don't smoke cannabis anymore for future job reasons and I miss the experience at times but its no big deal really since I only did it occasionally. I also take a prescription that intoxicates me to some degree so its a sort of compromise.

How fucked up were you 2 months ago?

I mean, I've done some silly silly things in my time.. heck i'm only 17 as well. None of the stuff i've done i'm proud of, and I think that I should cut down on my drug intake, but then I think; whats the point.. I enjoy them too much.. I have nobody behind me other than my parents encouraging me to quit drugs and so although I'd like to think it would stop eventually it probably won't stop right now.

And plus I will never quit smoking ciggs.

One thing was on my own accord, everything else was forced.

Part of me misses the one I willingly quit.  Part of me doesn't.

All of me misses everything else.  Wish I could smoke a fatty.

I've quit various things and do when I get bored with them. But it's fucking that you have the balls to say that drugs made you a better person, because that's often the case and no one mentions it. Kudos, my man.

I quit meth and ketamine. I'm not sure whether I regret starting meth. I have done some damage and I'm maybe a bit traumatized by psychosis but on the other hand I smoked meth for the first time after a rave and the week leading up to that I was planning to kill myself but I thought I'll do it after the rave because if I buy enough drugs I'll have a good time and I ended up forgetting all about it the next week because meth made me so happy.

I also made good friends who I wouldn't have met if I hadn't been using so I guess there's some good stuff.

I quit nicotine, pot, and different opiates (pain killers). Made me feel like a whole new person.

Yeah....I feel you with the whole not regretting starting thing. I'm not really happy with a lot of the things I did while using but in all honesty I wouldn't go back and change it I don't think. I learned things about myself and other people that I wouldn't trade, ever.

I've basically spent the last three months cleaning up and I think I'm to a point where it's just like....'I did it. It's over, and theres more to life than that now'.

Glad that you cut back though. Seems like you're happy with it.

yeah I'm pretty much at the same point. I'm glad I started and I wouldn't ever change it. When I had nobody, I had weed so I'm grateful that it wasn't anything stronger that I relied on so much.
And I'm very happy that I quit because I thought I never would.
