I just found out last night that it's illegal to possess marijuana, but not to smoke it. XD You can get in trouble if you get drug tested for being in public or driving under the influence. But if you're sitting in your yard, stoned, with no paraphenalia on you or weed, you're ok XD.

That's funny as hell. It's also not illegal to have bowls and bongs and shit, as long as you've NEVER smoked outta them.

So, here's what i'm going to do. I'm going to start collecting bowls and shit and when I go into the military (also when I quit smoking) I'll continue to collect and when I get outta the military in a few years...I'm going to pick my favorite piece and start smoking again. Using jsut the one. And by then I'll have a kickass collection XD

woot!

You have to possess it to smoke it. A durrrrrr.

Yes. But what I'm saying is smoking it isn't illegal. Possessing it is. Say you're with a friend, he's got the weed, you smoke with him, walk home. XD if they ask you about it you can admit "yeah I smoked" but t hey can't do anything. It's not illegal unless you were like driving or making a nuisance of yourself in public.

Wow, good luck with that.

You'll be too fried to get off your ass and join the military anyway.

No I won't XD
I don't smoke ALL the time, usually just at night. And I'm a really good student and have somewhat of a social life (I'm not much of a social person anyways) and like...yeah
I'm not a lazyass and jsut cuz you smoke doesn't mean you'll become someone who does nothing like those Above the Influence commercials.
That's bullshit.

Technically it's illegal to by under the influence of a substance, but it would be a violation of your rights to test you if you're not under suspicion of breaking another law.

You have a source for that? I've heard of human containers with MIPs, but that's only for alcohol, and every legal source I've talked to has confirmed that being under the influence is perfectly legal as US law only speaks to possession of controlled substances (outside of specific circumstances, such as when you're behind the wheel of a car).

I suppose it's really just a moot point, as they can't really test you if you haven't done anything wrong.

meow666 Posted at 10:48 am on Nov. 28, 2008
or, if you lived in the UK, like me, you wouldn't give a shit, as the police hear don't care unless you're blatently smoking in front of them, which is why i generally carry my bong, my pipe, skins and weed to college most days :D
it must really suck to be american sometimes:P

You're going into the military,
but your signature is anti-war?

Fuck the what?

Yeah. I don't agree with war, I'd rather we not fight. But it's going to happen, and the military is going to pay for my college.
