do you think i should have a conversation with her and tell her that i smoke infrequently (like once a week) and responsibly, and that it isn't getting in the way of schoolwork?
i know she smoked a lot when she was in high school, and i just want her to accept it as something that i like to do. but i dont know if she will be open about it.
any suggestions? past, similar experiences would be great
I had come home from getting high, changed my shirt and stuff when my dad came into my room wanting to talk. I wondered if he wanted to bust me but then again he just wanted to tell me how glad he was to have a son like me and basically lather me with praise and talk about how he tells all his friends about his son, his responsible, never do wrong son. I was in fucking tears after he said all that, just sitting there, crying. He left the room before he saw me crying though, and right there I realized I should stop. I stopped, and told him about it, and we talked. He was mad, but he was glad I talked to him like a man about it
in short, talk to your mom about it, you're still her son/daughter (don't know anonymous) so i'm sure she'll be willing to listen
no...just stop doing it...its fer LOSERS.....why do u do it? do u want cancer or no brain cells?
Cannabis doesn't cause cancer or kill brain cells.
It could be a good idea to talk to her about it. Explain why you aren't worried by your habits, and if you don't know how she feels ask. The fact that she brought it up calmly means that she's able to talk to you about it on an honesty and sane level, so you don't have much to lose by working out where you both stand in regards to your smoking.
the kid above me is an idiot.
