Sometimes I get strong effects from weed and sometimes I get mild recreational effects from shrooms but shrooms have taken me places a thousand times more intense, extreme and mad than weed has ever brought me. Granted, shrooms are quite safe....one of the safest drugs there is but whatever. The potential long term effects of psychedelics outweighs the essentially guaranteed to go away effects of marijuana. And I might as well go ahead and point out for the person you quoted that doing shrooms for a year straight would be, well, a waste of money.
