Marijuana is classified as a hallucinogen. FACT. Ok, don't you look dumb. It's like MDMA being classified as a hallucinogen, yeah colors get brighter and more vibrant but in the end, it's still not a hallucinogen in the sense of actually hallucinating(MDA makes you trip). The laws classification should always be taken with a grain of salt. Marijuana is also considered as a "narcotic", what a joke. Oh well, it's about context and knowing the substance in the end. |

| While Marijuana can make you hallucinate when eaten, it's generally not a hallucinogen nor a psychedelic one at that. So it's a no brainer to anyone who has used Psilocybin mushrooms, that Psilocybin mushrooms are far more intense then Marijuana could ever be. It's called a trip for a reason. |

| Incomparable. Thats like comparing a helicopter with a spaceship. They both get you high but take you completely different places. Sometimes I get strong effects from weed and sometimes I get mild recreational effects from shrooms but shrooms have taken me places a thousand times more intense, extreme and mad than weed has ever brought me. Smoking a few joints when your coming up on shrooms is fuckin mental. Sometimes I dont feel like the mushrooms are doing anything then I smoke a joint and suddenly regret taking so many shrooms. The beauty of it is no matter how intense it gets you always come back from it alive |

the effects of mushrooms are stronger than those of weed in the moment, but it is my understanding that the long term effects of habitual weed use are more significant than those of mushrooms. Then again, I would hazard to guess that there's a lot more research on weed use.
not a chance... long term effects of shrooms are MUCH, MUCH worse then weed. if u did shrooms as much as some people have smoked weed, like everyday for a year, you'd be a complete retard.. shrooms messes u up big time, its so bad for ur brain
Absolute bullshit. And whoever said your friend's a dipshit's right lol.
At least there is a nugget of truth in there; long term effects of shrooms would be worse when it gets right down to it. Granted, shrooms are quite safe....one of the safest drugs there is but whatever. The potential long term effects of psychedelics outweighs the essentially guaranteed to go away effects of marijuana. And I might as well go ahead and point out for the person you quoted that doing shrooms for a year straight would be, well, a waste of money. Fuck, by the third or fourth day you'd only get a body high. ...damn, my 10th grade english teacher would hate me right now if he read that gibberish. |

Wrong. There are no long-term negative effects of (psilocybin) mushrooms. Go ahead and research it yourself (something you obviously haven't done); there's a reason that the National Institute on Drug Abuse has nothing negative to say about them. |

| The subjective effects of a standard dose of mushrooms are *much* stronger than the subjective effects of a standard dose of weed.
Drugs aren't stupid, but you are for using them...you see how I didnt use a Drugs are stupid comment there?
Yet you still managed to vomit ignorance and stupidity all over the topic. How clever of you. |

Shrooms have more psychoactive affects on a person than weed does. |
