UXnIHAOnUXbmUXn Posted at 8:57 am on Jan. 7, 2009 ^ it is for me.  a week of morphine would get me mentally and physically addicted. and vicodin afterwards.. that'd just do me in. i think the addictive personality thing def. comes into play. but i think there's different types of addictive personalities. for example i have a super affinity for marijuana, benzos, and ofcourse opiates (all downers). but with stimulants (cocaine, meth, mdma, etc..) i can try them once and not want to do them again for a long long time. I'm thinking unless you have an addictive personality, cutting yourself off after that first time shouldn't be too hard. That said, I've never done it... but I was on liquid morphine for a week and a half, and hydrocodone tylenol solution for two weeks after that. It's not THAT hard to wean yourself off of opiates. UXnIHAOnUXbmUXn Posted at 7:46 am on Jan. 7, 2009 it really depends. i've seen some people do it once and declare 'this the most overrated and boring drug i've ever done' and never do it again. i've seen some people do it once, enjoy it, and then pass when the opportunity arises again. but most of all i've seen people get MAD addicted to it. the stigma is true. i'm a former heroin addict myself (albeit for a very short time). i don't really know if it was the heroin that got me addicted. i was eating pain pills then shooting up oxycontins before i ever tried heroin. that being said.. it's probably something you should stay far far away from. if you are insistant on trying an opiate... try about 10mgs of hydrocodone and be content with the effects you get. 20mgs at most. but that shits addictive too. some people can't enjoy hydrocodone. in that case you can try an oral dose of oxycodone in the form of percocet. no more than 5-10mgs should give you the feeling you are seeking as it's double the strength of hydrocodone. and it's also atleast 2x as addictive.. so be cautious. this rule applies to any kind of pharmaceuticals. they're all addictive in their own way. have fun.. but please.. stay away from the needle. it might not bite you but if it does bite you in the ass it's an UGLY process to recover from, if you ever do recover... twisted420 Posted at 2:29 pm on Jan. 6, 2009 the only bad thing that could come from doing it once is overdose. Most people don't even really like heroin the first time they use it, so it's not really all that bad. Elephantis Posted at 12:42 pm on Jan. 5, 2009 It's not thaaat bad. :/ IMO cocaine is a lot worse, just because during the comedown I crave it so so so much.   With heroin I kinda just do it and I'm satisfied. I've never craved it and I could never see myself getting addicted to it. I guess it's a 3 - 5. It really depends on your personality and taste in drugs. You don't always get track marks from heroin; this only happens if you inject it.  You can also sniff it or smoke it; I prefer smoking it.  If you're not experienced with shooting up I'd recommend smoking it instead.  It will hit almost immediately. bass09 Posted at 9:29 pm on Jan. 4, 2009 12 Vicodin Posted at 9:28 pm on Jan. 4, 2009 Asking the kids on livewire is your first mistakes.
