I must say mushrooms are a bit more comfortable than LSD. When I was on acid I felt like I was on the edge of going apeshit the whole time. Mushrooms - The world morphs into a rainbow of colors, and I think deeply about life and the life of others. LSD - The world ripples and bends along with the colors. Can't see any faces but I feel as if I am a God and everyone else is imperfect.

It's not a good idea, according to him. It's different for people. Environment, mindset, and dosage play a big factor in the outcome. If you enjoy it, it is a fun ride for 8 hours (shrooms) 12 (LSD). If you dislike it and are having a bad trip you must take full responsibility of what you took for the next few hours and all you can do it ride it out. Good thing is, you will not die if taken responsibly and will be safe in the company of someone who can watch you if anything goes bad.
