It used to be I was sad a depressed 24/7 then I had a brief up period, now it is back to near suicidal depression. And I have started to drink, I ignore the nasty flavor because it makes me feel less bad, not necessarily better though. So how can i stop, I only started about a month ago, but I drank about 3 bottles of champagne and 2 beers last night, I think it is getting out of hand, what can i do?

That shit'll kill you. Nothing's worth doing if it can't be moderated. Why be a slave to something you like?

Your stealing alcohol from your parents, its going to run out sometime, so just accept defeat, and start dealing with life. Find a hobby, start working out or something.

Your family physician is a good place to start.  They have confidentiality laws so you can deal with this issue without involving your parents.  But, if you have the kind of parents who would be willing to work with you - let them help you.  No one wants to see their daughter or son in a morgue.

Alcoholism has been around for ages, but there are so many new developments in the medical field for help.  You won't have to go too far to get help.

Believe me, I'd choose being able to walk on two legs, instead of being in a wheelchair or so messed up, like being paralyzed in some kind of accident because of alcohol.  It's a depressant too, so if you're trying to "run" away from your problems, stop running and get help to address all your issues.
good luck

You can sneak that much alcohol from your parents without them noticing? Wow.

It's just willpower left, I guess =/

If you're not buying it then you damn sure shouldn't be drinking it.

But you must have bought it from somewhere, right? I'm saying don't buy it (when you are feeling relatively in control) so that you have nothing to drink when you feel out of control and give in.
No, I am 18, I can't by alchohol. I just take it from my parents over time so they don't notice it is missing.

Don't drink?

Nothing is forcing your hand to pick up a bottle and put it to your lips. Don't pick it up.

Its the feeling that it will make me feel better temporarily.

Cut down on it. Maybe keep your credit and bank cards at home whenever you go out, and only carry the cash you need, so that you never buy too much alcohol.

It's normal to relapse into depression, you'll get out of it... but drinking's about the worst thing you can do now

I'm not going anywhere, just at home drinking.
