Benzodiaphines are schedule IV meaning possession without a prescription is just a mistamneander. This includes Rohypnol, a date rape drug, as well as xanax, valium, etc which can all cause complete memory loss when under influence. They also are some of the (if not the most) physically addictive drugs, moreso than heroin and methamphetamine.

On the other hand, LSD, psylosybin, mescaline, and peyote are all Schedule I where the first offense is a felony (with harsher penalties than cocaine and methamphetamine). These drugs are not addictive and have been used for hundreds of years for therapy and meditation.

Our country is so fucked.

It did. You're just too stupid to know what hes talking about

Lol, no, there is a difference of not understanding (or not even caring) what he said.

 And then there is stupidity.

Mine was the not understanding bit.

 Doesn't mean I'm stupid.

Yes, there is a difference between apathy and stupidity, though apathy usually leads to stupidity which is why 98% of kids today are morons.

Though, if you care or not, basically the most harmful drugs are legal while the safest ones are associated with the most severe penalties.

Justice system my ass, right?

Yeah, I get it now.

Because your government loves you.

I think it's kind of funny how all the mind-expanding drugs are so "abhorrent". Must be SOMETHING they don't want you to know, right? I also love how they actually took the time to distinguish between "marijuana" and "THC" on Schedule I.

Despite the exceptions which exist to the findings requirements of 21 U.S.C. § 812 it is remarkable that every Schedule otherwise requires a finding specifying the "potential for abuse" before a substance can be placed in that Schedule yet the Controlled Substances Act does not define abuse.

It's because the schedule I drugs open your mind, and the gubmint can't be havin' all-o-dat jive.
