This is really amusing. I would be interested to know why he has it if hes not drinking mate. Also, they come in lots of diffrent styles and shapes, google bombilla and see what you find. Nah it looks like it's somewhat pre-made. Although the end of it screws off. But usually pipes have a bowl at the end and you kinda have to light it upside down. But this thing has on one end a mouth piece, and on the other an appendage with holes on the top and bottom and it seems to clamp open and shut. I guess you would light it through the metal or something? I don't really know.
