No the METEORITE (singular) fucked up the atmosphere. that killed all the trees. and it didnt need to kill ALL of them. Just enough to fuck up the ecosystem. its like a house of cards. if you take out one card the rest fall.

dinosaurs weren't killed by meteorites they lived IN the meteorite then moved to dinotopia. duhh

They didnt kill the dinosaurs. They wiped out all their resources. Birds and insects can survive off leftovers.

They were indirectly killed by the meteorites.
The meteorites caused environmental conditions that lead to drought and starvation, which is probably what killed many species.
