It only took 13 years of competitive sports. Now to apply it to the rest of my life...

Never giving in. Always pushing a little harder. Looking to examine my weaknesses, covering them with my strengths until I can fix them.
The mental game is just as important as physical. Surprised it too you that long to learn though.
Before I managed to glide along on my own usually untiring energy. Now I actually have to work. I've come a long way.
(That and before I just played to play and have fun. Now I am playing to win because it is my job.)
