im a cross country runner myself. Expext alot of running usually everyday. If you are a novice it is okay because alot of people arent in very good physical shape in the beginning of the year

Sweet!  It's awesome.  It's strenuous.  It gives you time for some deep thought.  It'll make you sore.  You'll become more flexible.  You'll want to stop running, DON'T!  NEVER STOP RUNNING!  Seriously, during the first several runs, if you simply slow down and never stop breaking contact with the ground you'll improve, but you won't improve as much if you walk.

It's awesome.  Our training starts next week.  I go to a ghetto school with a small cc team, but it's all gravy.
