But my "almost-boyfriend" (Story not neccessary) is in Basic training right now and has told me some of what he expects from it, but I won't be able to give you honest, straightforward details until he comes back. He says it's fantastic pay, and amazing credentials that can help you land many, many jobs.  It's hard work, obviously, but worth it. Just... be prepared to lay it all on the line for your country, y'know? I can PM you when he gets back, in March/April... tell you how it REALLY goes down in Basic Training.
