| My mum was a nurse in the RAF... she wants me to join up when I finish my A levels so that they will pay for uni. However, I am a pacifist and could never be part of the hideous machine. |

| Well done. You must have some smarts to get in there. I don't want to be in the RAF (or the RAAF downunder ). I like to keep my feet dry and on the ground. |

| I was thinking about it a few years ago when considering career options, but to be a doctor in the RAF (and to get the scholarship) I would have to be a British citizen, of which the process takes quite a long time and isn't cheap. Some also needed to be born in the country, so that would have thrown that option out the window. |
