I'm looking for another job for the upcoming school year. I want to work during the school year, but I tried working basically a 9-5 job between school days and it just killed my grades, I had no time to catch up on schoolwork. So I'd like some kind of arrangement where I could have either the morning/afternoon hours or the late afternoon/night hours to be able to keep up with school. What kind of jobs should I be looking for?

Hotels are usually good for those hours. You could work in the morning serving breakfasts or the evening doing meals or functions.

Waiting tables or cooking at diners.  Bartending.  Working in an emergency room (might be hard.)  EMT.  Work at comedy club.  Starbucks.

You could be a newspaper delivery person. Or work a late/early shift at any place that's open 24 hours - from a diner to a gas station.

Any job, just get the morning shift.

If you really want, get a job somewhere that is popular during the morning or evening, like a donut shop.

Paper round/dog walking/babysitting - but that will exhaust you.
