Through my university. Neat huh? I'm not sure what to do with it though, I despise those "personal web pages" where people yak about their music tastes, and with stuff like facebook and myspace, makes it almost completely redundant, so, what would you guys do with it? I was thinking about making a "professional" sort of web portal with my resume, research interests and university info, etc. for prospective employers/internships, but that doesn't really seem necessary. What do you guys think?

Do you have access to PHP and MySQL? If so, you could set up Wordpress, just for the hell of it. Its probably what I would do.

But, I would feel limited by such a setup, I would want a whole server with root access, but that would be expensive.

Have you through of getting a VPS? Basically the same but smaller.

cheapvps.co.uk is who i am with, cheap but great vps.

I'd just use it as a remote access point for important files.

good idea
