LiveWire probably isn't the best place for me to ask this, hah. I have designed a website, and several people want to donate to it that have found it. In order for me to accept the donations, what do I have to do? Legally, of course. :)

Replies drifting Posted at 1:40 pm on Mar. 19, 2008 You can take donations on your site using Paypal. Unless you get $500 or more in a year, you dont have to claim it on your taxes. You probably dont qualify as non-profit, so that doesnt really matter (LW still doesnt have a 401-C3, and they probably would qualify). I dpon't think that the money's yours until it's in your bank account.
