Replies Bestm8ts Posted at 4:07 pm on May 8, 2008 ok.. to clear a few things up lol... - gifs do not support transparency effects and i need that effect for the image to fit with the design... - IE6 does not support transparents png's.. its nothign to do with lossy.. its just whatever is supposed to be transparent comes out blue - its an exam.. i can submit pictures and resources to be checked but i cannot email stuff to myself... thanks for your help though.. the situation has been resolved.. i was able to work out how to remove the table outline ... its VIEW -> VISUAL AIDS -> TABLE BORDERS (untick).. for anyone who is interested.. thanks again :D allsmiles Posted at 12:20 pm on May 8, 2008 Quote: from JeremyM at 2:52 pm on May 8, 2008 Quote: from allsmiles at 9:36 am on May 8, 2008 PNGs are a much more versatile format, supporting layers, alpha channels, 32 bit, etc... Such as, little images here and there, spacers, etc. PNGs can operate as spacers. Not quite sure what you mean by little images. Either that or reduce the images to 8bit (should be almost lossless) and save them as gifs. Well, it's for an exam...so I'd just convert them to gif's and call it a day.
