I've seen videos of locksmiths doing an easy trick to pop them open, plus it can also be pretty easy to just rip that part out of the laptop. I know because my friend's store has had a few laptops go missing, they have a connection to their alarm system like that one connected to the usb on most of them though. That seems to work...
