Mmkay, so I'm on a laptop, which obviously doesn't have a keypad, but I just noticed numbers on some of the letter keys.

How do I use the numbers on the letter keys? I pressed FN, but nothing happened

you have to have num lock on, my num lock is fn + f11

Mmkay, and would I just press that again to remove it from num lock?

yep, if you press those two again, it will remove it.
