Yesterday I got Fallout 3 for PC. Checking the system requirements, well - glancing quickly, I saw everything looked okay, or similar to what I had.

So, I got home and installed it twice. First time it didn't work, second time it did. But there is yet another problem. That problem would be the graphic adapter/video card I had wasn't what it needed, so I decided to download another one. Not knowing that one - the one I downloaded - was an older version. I accepted it. Never knowing the consequences approaching before me.

Computer restarted, and the resolution was fucked. So I fixed it to something similar to what I had.

Now this is where it gets to the annoying part.

I checked the game again. I realised I done the wrong video card, so I downloaded a nvidia GeForce 200 series. It said it wasn't "compatible to hardware" on my computer. I downloaded it again - same thing.

My computer isn't the best computer in the world. It annoys me sometimes, like all windows computer -but this time, it's just my fault, and no one else's.

I've tried downloading a couple others and all say the same thing.

So does anyone know what I can do here?

(** - the resolution was 800 x 600. Recommended resolution is 1680x1050. Atm, mine is 1280x1024.).

Help would be appreciated and a few points will be given to those who help. I'm determined to get this working again.
