| Does the screen turn black or just dim? If it just dims, look for a setting in the Function (F1-F12) keys on the keyboard. There should be little cryptic icons there (or on other keys) that are the same color as the Fn key. Hold the Fn key then press one of those buttons (maybe a sun? to make the screen brighter?) a few times. |

| Thats an issue with the settings. Go into the settings for power options, and change the hibernation settings for battery/plugged in. |

| It has to be some setting. Check in control panel. Do you have it set so the computer goes into sleep mode while charging? |
