I plan on using it for writing, schoolwork, the internet, and probably some really minor web-page editing for a friend. One is much cheaper, but it's a Compaq, and I've heard some bad things...so, based on what I have, I'm looking for a bit of advice on which to choose..... I get protection through work for a pretty good deal, so I'm not too worried about the warrenty on it. I also get a free upgrade to Vista on both.
