Speakers can pick up sound, not well, but they can. Get some headphones plug them into the microphone jack and shout into the speaker. Ashtrey8 Posted at 8:31 pm on April 8, 2008 Then your mic's busted.. it's very sensitive equipment, you know. I recommend you get a Shure Microphone. They're a lot better and last way longer. It only takes input from the headphones, not the mic :/ I'm sure it's taking input from my headphones... Click on "Entertainment" and select Volume Control. Click "options" and go to "settings" and go to "record" make sure the tag at Microphone is selected.
